Travel and Stay

Getting here

MediaCity is perfectly connected for sustainable travel, and the whole site is walkable once you arrive.

By tram

From Manchester Piccadilly, the Metrolink Blue Line is a frequent, affordable 20-minute tram ride to the MediaCityUK stop.

By train

Arrive at Manchester Piccadilly or Salford Crescent, then take the Metrolink or a bus onwards.

By air

From Manchester Airport, a direct train reaches Salford in around 20 minutes.

By bus or bike

Bee Network buses serve the area, and dedicated waterfront paths make for an easy, scenic cycle.

Where to stay

Stay in the heart of the action with over 500 rooms on the MediaCity campus itself, including the flagship Holiday Inn, the high-spec Premier Inn Tomorrow, and the stylish AC Hotel by Marriott.

For something more premium, Manchester's iconic Lowry Hotel is minutes away by tram, with riverside luxury, while the newly opened Soho House Manchester, in the former Granada Studios, offers a creative members' club with a rooftop pool and boutique bedrooms.
