The story so far
Superlative is a British-Jamaican artist, producer and rapper blending hip hop, soul, jazz and electronic influences, including DnB, into a genre-defying sound. Hailing from the Midlands and now rooted in the North West, his music moves between UK rap, jazz-infused hip hop and forward-thinking electronic production, driven by his SPR ethos, "Succeed In Pushing Reality", a mindset and community built around creativity, growth and self-belief.
He has collaborated with artists including The Mouse Outfit, Mr Scruff, Bou, Neone The Wonderer, PRIDO and OneDa, alongside performances at major UK festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown, We Out Here and Green Man.
His latest project, "Everything For A Reason", was powered by his community, raising over £5,000 through crowdfunding. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Loyle Carner, Knucks and Skepta, Superlative bridges introspective lyricism with rich live instrumentation and electronic production.
